Privacy

This site is run by advocates of Chase Merritt, to present the record in his case. It does not sell anything, and it does not track you.

What this site collects

  • No accounts, no tracking. There are no sign-ups and no visitor analytics. Nothing on this site follows you to other sites.
  • Comments. The Public comment page uses Disqus, an outside service. If you comment, Disqus collects what you give it (such as your name, email address or Disqus account) and handles it under its own privacy policy: disqus.com/privacy-policy. What you post is public.
  • E-mail. If you write to freeme5257@gmail.com, your message and address are read by the people who run this site. They are used only to reply to you and are never sold or shared for marketing.
  • The music player. The player remembers which song you were on, and where you were in it, using your browser’s session storage. That stays in your browser, is never sent to anyone, and is cleared when you close the tab.
  • Fonts. The pages load their typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google’s servers to get them. Google’s privacy policy applies to that request.
  • Server logs. Like most websites, the company that hosts this site may keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.
